Hudsonian Whimbrel proves elusive in poor weather

The Hudsonian Whimbrel was reportedly still present but proving elusive throughout the low tide period.
Offshore
Three periods of observation (0800-1000, 1115-1300 & 1300-1500) were highlighted by 4 Storm Petrel and provided totals of 1150 Manx Shearwater, 285 Gannet, 42 Common Scoter, 30 Sandwich Tern, 7 Arctic Skua (4 dark, 3 pale), 5 Fulmar and small numbers of Guillemot, Kittiwake and Arctic Tern.
Wildfowl and Waders
At least 2 Whimbrel remain to cause consternation and confusion.
