Wildfowl on the move

Offshore
Morning observations (0930-1030) produced just 13 Red-breasted Merganser, 7 Red-throated Diver, 5 Razorbill, 4 Kittiwake and 3 Common Scoter. A Shag fished in the sheltered waters off the eastern side of the island.
Diurnal Migration
A skein of 20 Pink-footed Geese flew north and 3 Whooper Swan headed south.
Miscellaneous
A Peregrine stalked the waders along the western shore.
