Offshore
Early morning activity (0800-0900) produced 58 Sandwich Tern, 22 Common Scoter, 18 Gannet, 10 Manx Shearwater, 2 Red-throated Diver and single pale phase Arctic Skua.
Grounded Migrants
Single Whitethroat and Wheatear were evidence of some movement.
Diurnal Migration
A few House Martin continue to pass through.
Butterflies and Moths
Small numbers of Painted Lady continue arrive off the sea and the first Poplar Hawkmoth of the season was recorded.
