A single Shag was the only record of note.
Grounded Migrants
A Woodpigeon and two Collared Dove were further early hints of spring.
Diurnal Migration
The Whooper Swan exodus north began in earnest with a flock of 23 birds seen and a skein of 30 Pink-footed Geese flew through.
Wildfowl and Waders
A flock of 50 Red-breasted Merganser were logged and waders included 3000 Knot and 8 Greenshank and 4 Black-tailed Godwit amongst 500 Redshank.
Miscellaneous
Four Raven and single Little Egret and Merlin were other sightings of interest.
