Offshore
A quick check of the sea revealed a flock of 1000 Common Scoter in the mouth of Morecambe Bay.
Grounded Migrants
A few birds were in evidence including 10 Willow Warbler, 6 Wheatear, 2 Whinchat and single Chiffchaff and Garden Warbler.
Wildfowl and Waders
The dark-bellied Brent Goose continues to linger and waders included 9 Whimbrel and 5 Black-tailed Godwit.
Moths
Marbled Coronet was new for the year.
