Offshore
Observations over the sea (0715-0815) revealed 150 Common Scoter, 28 Gannet, 16 Red-throated Diver, 8 Guillemot, 2 Red-breasted Merganser and a Sandwich Tern.
Grounded Migrants
Another reasonable selection of grounded migrants involved 21 Robin, 10 Chiffchaff, 6 Wheatear, 6 Stonechat, 4 Blackcap, 2 Goldcrest and single Spotted Flycatcher and Whitethroat.
Diurnal Migration
The skies added 850 Pink-footed Goose, 100 Meadow Pipit, 30 Linnet, 29 Skylark 6 Pied Wagtail, 3 Swallow seen through the course of the morning.
Wildfowl and Waders
A Whimbrel was the pick of the waders.
Miscellaneous
Barn Owl and Water Rail were the best of the rest.
