Rarities
The first Water Pipit has returned and a Yellow-browed Warbler was on the island – the fifth of the autumn.
Grounded Migrants
Early morning thrushes involved 30 Redwing and 8 Goldcrest and 4 Chiffchaff were also seen.
Diurnal Migration
Four Swallow, 2 Siskin and single Lesser Redpoll and Tree Sparrow were logged.
Miscellaneous
The Hooded Crow remains and 3 Water Rail and a Merlin were the best of the rest.
