Offshore
Early morning observations over the sea (0600-0730) revealed 1465 Common Scoter, 252 Sandwich, 121 Gannet, 50 Red-throated Diver, 11 Guillemot, 9 Red-breasted Merganser, 6 Manx Shearwater and 2 Puffin.
Grounded Migrants
Sightings were limited to 2 Willow Warbler and single Grasshopper Warbler, Blackcap and Wheatear.
Diurnal Migration
A total of 1000 Pink-footed Geese headed north.
Wildfowl and Waders
Waders included single Black-tailed Godwit and Whimbrel.
Miscellaneous
The Hooded Crow remains.
Butterflies and Moths
The moth trap attracted Dark Swordgrass, Silver Y and Diamond-backed Moth.
