Offshore
A scan over the sea produced 75 Common Scoter, 15 Sandwich Tern, 12 Manx Shearwater, 8 Gannet and a Mediterranean Gull.
Grounded Migrants
Warblers involved 6 Whitethroat, 3 Willow Warbler and single Chiffchaff and Sedge Warbler.
Diurnal Migration
Single Redpoll and Yellow Wagtail flew through.
Wildfowl and Waders
A Whimbrel was logged.
Miscellaneous
The Hooded Crow remains.
Butterflies and Moths
A total of 157 moths of 51 species were attracted to the light overnight with Dingy Footman still the dominant species while Southern Wainscot and Rosy Rustic were new for the year.
