Offshore
A check over the sea (0700-0800) revealed 500 Sandwich Tern, 110 Common Scoter, 8 Gannet, 5 Shag, 3 Pintail and a Teal.
Grounded Migrants
Limited to a Whitethroat amongst a handful of Robin.
Diurnal Migration
The skies were much busier with 840 Swallow, 110 Tree Sparrow, 74 Sand Martin, 24 House Martin, 12 Meadow Pipit, 10 Pied Wagtail and a Yellow Wagtail logged.
Wildfowl and Waders
Waders included 14 Greenshank amongst 500 Redshank.
Miscellaneous
An Osprey fished the tide and perhaps 3 Marsh Harrier hunted the island.
