Little Egrets continue to show as migration slows

Offshore
Early morning observations (0625-0725) included 41 Common Scoter, 30 Sandwich Tern, 20 Guillemot, 10 Gannet, 3 Arctic Tern, 2 Fulmar and single pale phase Arctic Skua and Red-throated Diver. Sightings from the mouth of Morecambe Bay on the ebbing tide (1830-1900) included 25 Great Crested Grebe, 20 Sandwich Tern, 2 Arctic Tern, 2 Little Tern and a dark phase Arctic Skua.
Grounded Migrants
Just 14 Wheatear and a single Willow Warbler were logged as passage slows. A single Hooded Crow remains.
Diurnal Migration
A few Swallow continue to move through.
Miscellaneous
At least 2 Little Egrets remain and a Peregrine was logged.
Mammals
A group of 20 Grey Seal were offshore.
