Offshore
Sightings were highlighted by a Velvet Scoter with early and late observations also providing totals of 28 Common Scoter, 20 Gannet, 5 Shag, 4 Red-throated Diver, 4 Razorbill and single Sandwich Tern and Guillemot.
Diurnal Migration
Casual observations produced 220 Pink-footed Goose, 210 Meadow Pipit, 10 alba Wagtail and 2 Grey Wagtail.
Wildfowl and Waders
The first Purple Sandpiper of the year appeared and other wader highlights included 21 Greenshank and the long-staying adult Spotted Redshank.
Miscellaneous
Bits and pieces included 2 Raven and single Little Egret and Little Owl.
