Offshore
Morning observations over a calm sea provided just small numbers of Gannet, Common Scoter, Sandwich Tern and Guillemot.
Wildfowl and Waders
An early returning Green Sandpiper proved to be the bird of the day while other waders included a single Whimbrel.
Moths
Newly emerged species included Burnished Brass and a varied selection of micros including Cochylis atricapitana, Esperia sulphurella, Marbled Orchard Tortrix, Epiblema roborana, Scoparia pyralella and Phlyctaenia coronata.
