9th September 2013 – early showers then sunny spells V1
Grounded Migrants
A sprinkling of grounded birds included 26 Wheatear, 7 Robin, 4 Willow Warbler, 3 Whinchat, 3 Chiffchaff, 2 Whitethroat and 2 Blackcap.
Diurnal Migration
Some movement was evident through the morning with 300 Meadow Pipit, 100 Swallow, 10 Pied/White Wagtail, 2 Grey Wagtail, 2 Chaffinch and a Sand Martin logged.
Wildfowl and Waders
Two Greenshank were seen.
Miscellaneous
Two Little Egret were recorded.
