30th October 2015 – early rain clearing SE3/2
Grounded Migrants
Early morning thrushes involved 65 Redwing, 22 Blackbird, 19 Song Thrush and 3 Fieldfare. Also logged were single Blackcap and Goldcrest.
Diurnal Migration
A Yellowhammer proved to be the highlight of the day.
Wildfowl and Waders
Wildfowl included 6 Goldeneye and 2 Shoveler while 6 Greenshank were the pick of the waders.
Miscellaneous
Single Short-eared Owl and Water Rail were also recorded.
