Great Northern Diver and Snow Bunting

Offshore
Early morning observations (0800-0900) produced 115 Razorbill, 36 Common Scoter, 18 Shag, 7 Red-throated Diver and single Great Northern Diver and Gannet.
Grounded Migrants
Early morning thrushes involved just 2 Fieldfare. A male Snow Bunting proved to be the bird of the day.
Diurnal Migration
A few birds remain on the move with 355 Pink-footed Goose, 17 Whooper Swan and single Lesser Redpoll and Siskin logged.
Wildfowl and Waders
Three Scaup (a first-winter male and 2 females) and 10 Whooper Swan were logged and the Brent Goose flock held 267 pale-bellied and a dark-bellied bird. Waders included 7 Greenshank and 4 Purple Sandpiper.
Miscellaneous
The flock of 10 Twite were the best of the rest.
