Water Pipit

Rarities
A Water Pipit was feeding amongst 20 Meadow Pipit in the flooded horse paddocks along Biggar Bank at high tide.
Offshore
Quieter over the sea with observations (0800-1000) producing 44 Common Scoter, 40 Razorbill, 3 Kittiwake, 2 Gannet, 2 Red-throated Diver, 2 Guillemot and a Red-breasted Merganser.
Wildfowl and Waders
The Brent Goose flock held 287 pale-bellied and a single dark-bellied bird while the presumed same overwintering female Goosander has returned.
Ringing
A colour-ringed Canada Goose had previously been marked at Fellfoot, Windermere, Cumbria on 27th June 2015.
Miscellaneous
Two Raven were the best of the rest.
