Grounded Migrants
Early morning thrushes involved 10 Blackbird and 2 Song Thrush while 2 Goldcrest were also seen. At least two Cetti’s Warbler remain
Diurnal Migration
115 Pink-footed Goose, 62 Whooper Swan, 3 Siskin, 2 Stock Dove and single Brambling and Tree Sparrow flew through.
Wildfowl and Waders
Two Goosander and a Gadwall were the pick of the wildfowl while waders included 8 Greenshank.
Miscellaneous
Two Water Rail and single Merlin, Peregrine and Hooded Crow were the best of the rest.
Butterflies and Moths
The light trap held single Large Wainscot, Angle Shades and Winter Moth.
