Grounded Migrants
Early morning thrushes involved 14 Blackbird, 6 Redwing, 3 Song Thrush and a Fieldfare. Also seen were 10 Stonechat, 5 Goldcrest and a Blackcap along with 2 Cetti’s Warbler – including a singing male.
Diurnal Migration
Totals of 150 Jackdaw, 33 Pink-footed Goose, 10 Siskin, 5 Redpoll and 2 Whooper Swan.
Wildfowl and Waders
Wildfowl included a female Gadwall and 2 Jack Snipe were the pick of the waders.
Miscellaneous
A total of 9 Twite are now present while 3 Water Rail and single Merlin and Hooded Crow were the best of the rest.
