A check of the sea revealed 7 Common Scoter, 2 Kittiwake, 2 Shag and a Red-throated Diver.
Grounded Migrants
Early morning thrushes involved 5 Redwing and a Fieldfare. The Cetti’s Warbler remains and 2 Goldcrest were logged
Diurnal Migration
Totals included 160 Jackdaw, 80 Pink-footed Goose, 75 Woodpigeon, 10 Chaffinch, 6 Tree Sparrow and single Redpoll and Brambling
Wildfowl and Waders
Waders included a Black-tailed Godwit.
Miscellaneous
A Kingfisher was seen and 2 Merlin and 2 Water Rail were the best of the rest.
Butterflies and Moths
The light trap held 2 Large Wainscot and a Rusty Dot Pearl.
