First Red-throated Diver of the autumn

Offshore
Early morning observations (0730-0800) saw the first Red-throated Diver of the autumn flying south along with 18 Gannet, 16 Sandwich Tern, 5 Common Scoter and 2 Kittiwake.
Grounded Migrants
Little evidence of any newly grounded birds with just small numbers of Willow Warbler, Whitethroat, Garden Warbler and Wheatear seen.
Miscellaneous
At least 2 Little Egret continue to roam the island.
Dragonflies
The first Migrant Hawker are now on the wing.
