Buzzard annoys the evening Oystercatcher roost

A few Sandwich Tern continue to remain offshore.
Grounded Migrants
A small fall of Wheatear produced 26 birds along with 7 Chiffchaff and 4 Goldcrest.
Diurnal Migration
A Buzzard headed north early evening, pursued by the local Oystercatcher population .
Wildfowl and Waders
A few Greenshank were the best on offer.
A Little Owl was a welcome sign of what is a declining species on the island.
A Pale Pinion was an unusual visitant to the light trap.
At least 6 Migrant Hawker were seen.
