29th October 2015 – early rain clearing SE4/3/2
Offshore
A quick check of the sea revealed 26 Common Scoter and a solitary Gannet.
Grounded Migrants
Early morning thrushes involved 5 Blackbird and 2 Song Thrush. Additional sightings involved 2 Goldcrest.
Diurnal Migration
Just a single Lesser Redpoll was recorded.
Wildfowl and Waders
The Brent Goose flock contained 125 pale-bellied birds and 42 dark-bellied birds, also seen were 1550 Wigeon and a Black-tailed Godwit.
Miscellaneous
Little Egret remain prominent and 5 Rock Pipit were logged.
