The eastern shore provided a single Red-throated Diver.
Grounded Migrants
A Fieldfare was logged.
Wildfowl and Waders
The 2 Scaup remain and waders included 5000 Knot, 1000 Dunlin and 130 Grey Plover.
Miscellaneous
A flock of 60 were logged.
Ringing
A total of 63 birds of 13 species were handled during December. Individual species totals were as follows (retraps in brackets): Goldfinch 13 (7), House Sparrow 8 (3), Chaffinch 6, Song Thrush 5, Greenfinch 4 (1), Blackbird 4 (1), Tree Sparrow 1, Blackcap 1, Starling 1, Blue Tit 1, (2), Reed Bunting 1 (1), Dunnock 1 (1) and Robin (1).
