Offshore
Observations on the rising tide (0630-0700) produced 60 Sandwich Tern, 56 Common Scoter and 11 Manx Shearwater.
Grounded Migrants
A Willow Warbler was presumably the first southbound bird.
Wildfowl and Waders
Waders included 460 Knot and 6 Whimbrel.
Ringing
The summering flock of Knot held a further five colour-ringed birds.
Dragonflies
At least 7 Black-tailed Skimmer were noted as the species consolidates its recent colonisation of the island.
