Offshore
Early morning observations over the sea (0715-0815) produced just 48 Common Scoter, 4 Gannet, 3 Sandwich Tern, 2 Red-throated Diver, 2 Shag and a Razorbill.
Grounded Migrants
Only evidenced by 5 Wheatear.
Diurnal Migration
More mundane passage with just 80 Meadow Pipit, 12 Swallow, 10 Grey Wagtail, 8 Skylark and a Siskin.
Wildfowl and Waders
A total of 30 Greenshank and 3 Black-tailed Godwit were amongst good numbers of Redshank.
Miscellaneous
A Peregrine was the best of the rest.
Butterflies and Moths
The moth trap attracted 60 moths of 20 species with Rhomboid Tortix new for the year.
