Dusky Warbler still present

Rarities
The Dusky Warbler was again calling and showing occasionally from the reeds and scrub below the hide in the central marsh at South Walney Nature Reserve. View only from the fence and do not enter the restricted area.
Offshore
At least 5 Shag were offshore early morning.
Grounded Migrants
Early morning thrushes involved 33 Redwing, 19 Blackbird, 2 Song Thrush and a Fieldfare. The only other evidence of grounded birds involved 3 Goldcrest.
Diurnal Migration
A few birds remain on the move, sightings included 90 Woodpigeon, 65 Pink-footed Goose, 15 Chaffinch, 7 Brambling, 5 Lesser Redpoll, 4 Siskin and a Stock Dove.
Wildfowl and Waders
Waders included 420 Turnstone, 7 Greenshank and a Black-tailed Godwit.
Miscellaneous
Less frequently visited areas of the island revealed 3 Jay, 3 Bullfinch and 2 Coal Tit.
