First Tree Pipit of the autumn

Morning observations (0730-0830) produced little of note other than 30 Common Scoter.
Grounded Migrants
Warblers involved 2 Whitethroat and single Lesser Whitethroat, Sedge Warbler and Willow Warbler.
Diurnal Migration
A Tree Pipit flew through.
Butterflies and Moths
The moth trap held 265 moths of 44 species. Immigrants involved Silver Y and Rusty Dot Pearl while Svenson’s Copper Underwing and Hedge Rustic were new for the year.
