Rarities
At least 14 Water Pipit were in the flooded fields behind Biggar Farm over the high tide, viewable from the England Coastal Path.
Offshore
Observations over the sea (0700-0800) produced 30 Common Scoter, 5 Red-throated Diver, 4 Red-breasted Merganser, 4 Gannet and 3 Manx Shearwater.
Grounded Migrants
Limited to 16 Stonechat, 2 Goldcrest, 2 Wheatear and a Chiffchaff.
Miscellaneous
A Merlin and the Hooded Crow were the best of the rest.
