Offshore
Observations over the sea (0745-0845) produced the first Gannet of the year, along with 21 Red-breasted Merganser, 14 Common Scoter and 4 Red-throated Diver.
Grounded Migrants
Eight Redwing were logged.
Wildfowl and Waders
Waders included 6 Greenshank. Four Barnacle included 2 with green colour-rings, suggesting they were ringed on the Solway.
Miscellaneous
The Hooded Crow and 35 Twite remain and a Short-eared Owl and 2 Water Rail were the best of the rest.
