Offshore
Observations over a calm sea (0630-0730) produced 80 Sandwich Tern, 69 Common Scoter, 32 Gannet and 3 Red-throated Diver.
Grounded Migrants
A Chiffchaff was new in.
Diurnal Migration
Four Collared Dove and 3 House Martin flew through.
Wildfowl and Waders
The Wigeon remains and waders included 25 Curlew and 2 Whimbrel.
Miscellaneous
The Hooded Crow remains.
Butterflies and Moths
The light trap attracted 163 moths of 44 species with the first Sand Dart of the year emerging while immigrants involved 7 Small Mottled Willow and 2 Rusty Dot Pearl. A total of 61 Painted Ladies were logged.
Dragonflies
Sightings included 75 Four-spotted Chaser and 30 Azure Damselfly.
