A check over the sea (0630-0715) revealed 110 Sandwich Tern, 43 Common Scoter, 21 Manx Shearwater, 18 Gannet and 2 Shag.
Grounded Migrants
Limited to 3 Wheatear, 3 Robin, 2 Whitethroat, 2 Willow Warbler, 2 Sedge Warbler and a Grasshopper Warbler.
Diurnal Migration
Totals involved 67 Tree Sparrow, 40 Swallow, 7 Tree Pipit, 4 Yellow Wagtail and 2 Sand Martin
Wildfowl and Waders
Waders included 100 Turnstone.

A Marsh Harrier continues to hunt the island along with Peregrine and Merlin.
Butterflies and Moths
The light trap attracted 158 moths of 38 species with Tawny Speckled Pug new for the year. Immigrants involved 40 Rusty Dot Pearl, 17 Small Mottled Willow and a Rush Veneer.
