Offshore
Sightings were limited to small numbers of Gannet and Common Scoter.
Grounded Migrants
A lot of effort provided variety if not quantity with 3 Goldcrest, 2 Chiffchaff and single Whinchat, Wheatear, Blackcap, Whitethroat and Lesser Whitethroat logged.
Diurnal Migration
The first significant passage of the autumn was highlighted by 2 Crossbill amongst 210 Meadow Pipit, 205 Pink-footed Goose, 65 alba Wagtail, 65 Swallow, 22 Snipe, 14 House Martin, 8 Grey Wagtail and 6 Sand Martin between 0900 and 1100hrs
Wildfowl and Waders
Two Black-tailed Godwit were the pick of the waders.
Miscellaneous
At least 6 Little Egret, 2 Raven and a Peregrine were the best of the rest.
