Offshore
Observations on the rising tide (0900-1100) were highlighted by a Leach’s Petrel, otherwise it was very slow going with just small numbers of Gannet, Red-throated Diver, Fulmar, Common Scoter, Sandwich Tern, Guillemot and Razorbill.
Wildfowl and Waders
The first 17 pale-bellied Brent Geese have now returned to the island from their Canadian breeding grounds and waders included 2 Black-tailed Godwit.
Miscellaneous
Little Egret, Pergrine and Merlin were the best of the rest.
