Offshore
Observations on the rising tide (0830-1000) produced 141 Common Scoter, 72 Sandwich Tern, 63 Manx Shearwater, 41 Gannet, 4 Arctic Tern, 3 Teal and a dark phase Arctic Skua.
Diurnal Migration
Only evidenced by a group of 4 Swift heading south.
Wildfowl and Waders
A female Gadwall was newly arrived and waders included a Black-tailed Godwit amongst 22 Bar-tailed Godwit and a single Common Sandpiper.
Butterflies
A transect count produced an exceptional 48 Gatekeeper.
