Offshore
A very quiet morning over the sea (0800-0900) with just 15 Sandwich Tern, 8 Common Scoter, 3 Gannet and a Guillemot logged.
Grounded Migrants
A Cuckoo took top billing with a supporting cast of 4 Willow Warbler and a Whitethroat.
Wildfowl and Waders
A female Garganey was newly arrived and waders included 130 Sanderling, 16 Golden Plover, 12 Whimbrel and a Common Sandpiper.
Butterflies
Butterflies included 29 Gatekeeper, 26 Speckled Wood and 12 Wall Brown.
Dragonflies
A Brown Hawker was logged.
