Offshore
Early morning core counts (0800-0900) produced 40 Sandwich Tern, 24 Gannet, 18 Common Scoter, 14 Guillemot, 8 Razorbill, 4 Manx Shearwater, 4 Kittiwake and a Fulmar.
Grounded Migrants
Another light sprinkling of grounded birds with 15 Wheatear, 3 Blackcap, 2 Whinchat, 2 Chiffchaff and single Willow Warbler and White Wagtail newly arrived.
Wildfowl and Waders
A group of 11 Whimbrel were logged.
Miscellaneous
A Merlin continues to hunt over the island.
