Offshore
Observations (0630-0800) produced just 55 Common Scoter, 13 Gannet, 9 Little Tern, 2 Shag and single Arctic Tern, Common Tern and dark-bellied Brent Goose.
Grounded Migrants
A Yellow Wagtail was the pick of a short list which also included 27 Wheatear and single Willow Warbler and Chiffchaff.
Wildfowl and Waders
Whimbrel begin to build with 81 birds logged, also seen were 7200 Dunlin and 200 Sanderling.
Miscellaneous
A Little Egret continues to stalk the island’s saltmarshes.
