24th October 2019 – early mist/drizzle then sunny spells W3/4
Offshore
Observations over the sea (0815-0915) produced 144 Common Scoter, 30 Razorbill, 4 Kittiwake, 2 Gannet and single Great Skua and Red-throated Diver.
Grounded Migrants
Early morning thrushes were again non-existent while warblers were limited to a Goldcrest and Chiffchaff.
Diurnal Migration
Again only few birds were on the move with highlights involving 2 Bullfinch, 2 Twite and single Lesser Redpoll and Tree Sparrow.
Wildfowl and Waders
Waders included 350 Knot and 7 Greenshank
Miscellaneous
Merlin and Peregrine were the best of the rest.
