First Wigeon of the autumn

Grounded Migrants
A smattering of sightings included 15 Willow Warbler, 6 Whitethroat, 6 Whinchat, 5 Wheatear, 3 Sedge Warbler, 2 Stonechat, 2 Spotted Flycatcher and a White Wagtail
Diurnal Migration
Totals included 60 Tree Sparrow, 50 Swallow, 20 Sand Martin, 14 Tree Pipit and 10 Meadow Pipit.
Wildfowl and Waders
The first two Wigeon of the autumn appeared amongst 28 Teal and waders included 22 Greenshank and a Ruff amongst 450 Redshank.
