Morning observations (0830-0930) produced just 18 Common Scoter, 9 Red-throated Diver, 3 Red-breasted Merganser, 3 Razorbill, 2 Guillemot, 2 Kittiwake and a Gannet.

A trip off the island produced the Cattle Egret amongst Little Egrets feeding in roadside fields along Brick Kiln Lane, Ulverston.
