Offshore
A check of the sea on the rising tide and in the poor conditions (0900-1000) revealed a Little Auk heading north close inshore. Also seen were 12 Common Scoter, 3 Razorbill, 2 Red-throated Diver and single Guillemot and Red-breasted Merganser.
Wildfowl and Waders
The female Scaup remains and 14 Purple Sandpiper were seen.

The long-staying Great Northern Diver was still on Ormsgill Reservoir.
