Rarities
The Great White Egret was again on the pools at the north end of the island.
Grounded Migrants
Thrushes included 95 Fieldfare, 10 Redwing and 8 Song Thrush. Additional sightings involved 8 Goldcrest, 2 Chiffchaff and a single Blackcap.
Diurnal Migration
A small scale movement included 8 Whooper Swan, 4 Raven, 2 Brambling and single Tree Sparrow and Lesser Redpoll.
Wildfowl and Waders
The female/immature Long-tailed Duck was again along the eastern shore at hightide.
Miscellaneous
At least 3 Merlin hunted the island.
