Marsh Harrier flies through

Offshore
There was little evidence of movement over the sea early morning excepting for 35 Common Scoter.
Grounded Migrants
Limited to 15 Goldcrest, 5 Chiffchaff and a Wheatear.
Diurnal Migration
Migration continued apace with 2200 Meadow Pipit, 2070 Pink-footed Geese, 760 Linnet, 168 Skylark, 164 alba Wagtail, 112 Swallow, 15 Tree Sparrow, 3 Rock Pipit and single Siskin and Grey Wagtail logged through the morning. In addition a tardy Marsh Harrier headed south at 1515hrs.
Wildfowl and Waders
Waders included 10 Greenshank and a Ruff.
Miscellaneous
Two Peregrine and a Water Rail were the best of the rest.
