Offshore
A scan of the sea revealed just 55 Common Scoter, 5 Shag and 2 Gannet.
Grounded Migrants
Warblers involved 5 Whitethroat and single Sedge Warbler, Blackcap and Willow Warbler while 3 White Wagtail were amongst 20 Pied Wagtail and 2 Stonechat amongst 8 Robin.
Diurnal Migration
A total of 26 Swallows trickled through along with 23 Meadow Pipit, 10 Pied Wagtail, 6 Sand Martin, 5 Tree Sparrow and single Yellow Wagtail and Grey Wagtail.
Wildfowl and Waders
Waders included 80 Ringed Plover.

Butterflies and Moths
The light trap held 158 moths of 34 species with migrants represented by 10 Rusty Dot Pearl, 6 Silver Y, 3 Dark Sword-grass and single Rush Veneer along with a worn example of L-album Wainscot – the latter the first for the island and perhaps Cumbria.
