As the rain cleared to showers observations over the sea (0700-0800) revealed 43 Manx Shearwater, 18 Common Scoter, 15 Gannet, 11 Sandwich Tern, 6 Little Tern and single Storm Petrel and Red-throated Diver.
Grounded Migrants
Warblers involved 2 Willow Warbler and a Whitethroat.
Wildfowl and Waders
Waders included 10 Greenshank and a Black-tailed Godwit.
Butterflies and Moths
The light trap attracted 86 moths of 29 species with migrants represented by a Dark Sword-grass while Flame Shoulder was the dominant species
