Grounded Migrants
Warblers involved 14 Willow Warbler, 4 Sedge Warbler and 2 Whitethroat. Additional sightings included 11 Wheatear, 3 White Wagtail and 2 Spotted Flycatcher.
Diurnal Migration
Morning totals included 60 Tree Sparrow and 4 Grey Wagtail.
Wildfowl and Waders
Waders included single Ruff and Black-tailed Godwit.
Miscellaneous
Raptors involved 3 Kestrel and 2 Sparrowhawk.
Butterflies and Moths
The light trap held 147 moths of 46 species with migrants represented by 16 Rusty Dot Pearl and 3 Silver Y while Svensons Copper Underwing, Pink-barred Sallow and Square-spot Rustic were new for the year.
