Hudsonian Whimbrel continues to attract observers

The Hudsonian Whimbrel continues to show on and off on Wylock Marsh.
Morning observations (0830-0930) produced 120 Manx Shearwater, 100 Gannet, 50 Sandwich Tern, 25 Common Scoter, 10 Kittiwake and single Great Skua and Fulmar.
Diurnal Migration
The first Merlin of the autumn flew through.
Wildfowl and Waders
Other waders included 4 Black-tailed Godwit, 3 Greenshank, 2 Whimbrel and single Spotted Redshank and Common Sandpiper.
