Whooper Swans still on the move

Offshore
Morning observations (0800-0900) produced 55 Sandwich Tern, 25 Razorbill, 3 Red-throated Diver and a single Gannet while a second watch over the tide provided 18 Sandwich Tern, 16 Razorbill, 3 Red-throated Diver, 2 Shag and a Guillemot
Diurnal Migration
A flock of 52 Whooper Swan flew north.
Grounded Migrants
Just 4 Stonechat, 3 Pied Wagtail, 3 Blackbird, 2 Wheatear, 2 Goldcrest and a Chiffchaff were logged.
Wildfowl and Waders
The flock of 65 pale-bellied Brent Geese remain and waders included 3 Greenshank and single Black-tailed Godwit and Purple Sandpiper.
Miscellaneous
At least 4 Little Egret remain and 70 Twite and a Merlin were logged.
