Yellowhammer provides surprise

Offshore
Morning observations (0800-0900) included 160 Sandwich Tern, 60 Razorbill, 10 Gannet, 3 Red-throated Diver and a Fulmar.
Diurnal Migration
Limited to 10 Meadow Pipit and a Siskin.
Grounded Migrants
A Yellowhammer was a surprise but was only backed up by 5 Wheatear, 2 Willow Warbler and a single White Wagtail.
Wildfowl and Waders
At least 34 pale-bellied Brent Geese remain and waders included 560 Golden Plover and 12 Whimbrel.
Miscellaneous
A Merlin dined on a recently caught Sanderling.
